Avianca Emerges from Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Colombian flag carrier Avianca has announced that it has emerged from Chapter 11 after successfully completing its financial restructuring process. Avianca Holdings S.A. filed for bankruptcy protection in May 2020, citing “the unforeseeable impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.”.
